Cold work die steel / Cold work die tool steel
SKD11/SLD/DC53/GOA/YK30/SK3
Cold work die steel / Cold work die tool steel
SKD11
Features
It has the characteristics of wear resistance, non-deformation, impact resistance, etc., suitable for various cold working molds. (Brand Origin: Taiwan, South Korea, China) (D2, 1.2379)
Uses
Various cold punching dies, drawing dies, drawing dies, screw heading dies, cold cutting, forming, correction tools, such as scissors, punches, rollers, precision templates and gauges, etc.
SLD
Features
General-purpose cold-punching die steel with high abrasiveness (JIS SKD11, D2, 1.2379)
Uses
This steel is easy to turn, and it is suitable to make sharp knife edges, scissors, circular saws, cold or hot finishing dies, drum edges, screw threads, wire dies, milling cutters, impact dies, round drums, power transformer core punching dies, and cutting steel Skin knives, steel pipe forming rollers, jeweller rollers, special forming rollers, precision gauges, cold pressing tools with complex shapes, mandrels, metallurgy, tin molds, plastic molds, screw heading molds, etc.
DC53
Features
It surpasses SKD-11 in terms of high temperature strength and wear resistance, and improves the extension of mold life (JIS SKD11 improved type).
Uses
Precision stamping dies, tools for plastic processing of difficult-to-work materials, other high-speed blanking punches, stainless steel plate blanking punches
GOA
Features
General purpose die steel with excellent wear resistance, impact resistance and machinability. (JIS SKS3)
Uses
Various cold dies, such as punching dies, cutting dies, wire dies, screw dies, modeling dies, rollers
YK30
Features
It is an improved steel grade of SK3. Due to the increase in manganese and chromium content, oil quenching can avoid quenching cracks and deformation when quenching general high-carbon steel. It has the high hardness and wear resistance of general high carbon steel. (JIS SK3, SKS93)
Uses
All kinds of cold working molds, tools and knives. Various mechanical components that require high hardness and wear resistance.
SK3
Features
Carbon steel shells include SK3, SK5, SK7, etc. High carbon steels with a carbon content of more than 0.6% have quenching hardnesses: SK3 and SK5 are HRc50~60, and SK7 is HRc50~55. A tool steel with excellent wear resistance and less expensive price, used for parts with sliding parts requiring high hardness and wear resistance (JIS G4401)
