Molybdenum-chromium-nickel-aluminum alloy steel SCM440, SCM415, SNCM439, SNCM220, SACM645, SNCM420

Molybdenum-chromium-nickel-aluminum alloy steel

SCM440

Features

Chrome-molybdenum alloy steel (red cross) strong
(SCM440, 4140, 1.7225)

Uses

auto parts, machine parts, shafts, gears, powerful screws

SCM415

Features

Chrome-molybdenum alloy steel (green cross) surface carburizing steel (SAE4115)

Uses

Gears, axles, pistons, auto parts, locomotive parts and various mechanical parts.

SCM420

Features

SCM420, a green cross steel, has high hardenability, no temper brittleness, good weldability, low tendency to form cold cracks, good machinability and cold strain plasticity, and is generally used in quenched and tempered or carburized quenched conditions .

Uses

It is used to manufacture high-pressure pipes and various fasteners that work in non-corrosive media and the working temperature is lower than 250°C, and is used to manufacture the medium containing nitrogen and hydrogen mixture, and to manufacture various special wear-resistant parts of automobiles and airplanes, or higher-level Carburized parts such as gears, shafts, etc.

SNCM439

Features

Nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy steel (blue cross) has good hardenability and high performance (SAE4340)

Uses

Screws, gears, shaft parts.
Automobile, locomotive and various strong structural steels.

SNCM220

Features

Nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy steel (white cross) surface carburizing steel (SAE8620)

Uses

Gears and shaft parts. Parts for automobile, locomotive and various wear-resistant surfaces.

SACM645

Features

medium carbon aluminum chromium molybdenum alloy steel (black cross, nitriding steel)
(JIS SAE 7150)

Uses

Cylinder lining, compressor parts, hydraulic machine parts, etc.

SNCM420

Features

SNCM420 is also a carburized steel, with almost the same mechanical properties as SNCM220. After carburizing, the surface has quite high hardness, wear resistance and contact fatigue strength. At the same time, the core retains good toughness and can withstand high impact. Load, the difference is only in the specifications of the two and the amount of nickel content. SNCM420 has a little more nickel than SNCM220.

Uses

The standard carbon steel equivalent to SAE4320. Roller bearings, large gears and shafts, crankshafts, vortex wings, and rods
